Aine Mines, PE, CEG, RG
Associate Engineer Aine has 14 years of geotechnical and geological engineering experience throughout the US. She holds dual PE/CEG licensure in multiple states and provides geotechnical and geological engineering services to a variety of public and private entities. Her areas of expertise include levee safety condition assessments, stability and seepage analysis, geotechnical instrumentation, and geotechnical asset management. Aine has played a critical role in several recent Task Orders for the US Army Corps of Engineers involving Routine Levee Inspections and emergency levee repair designs. She has also been extensively involved in the development of Geotechnical Asset Management (GAM) programs for several State DOTs. As part of these programs, she has inventoried over 1,500 potentially hazardous rock and soil slopes and over 200 retaining walls. Aine has performed additional research studies on existing asset inventory programs to enable development of asset condition - mitigation cost correlations, drawing on State Rockfall Hazard Rating System (RHRS) and Unstable Slope Management System (USMS) programs. She has developed innovative risk methodologies to correlate and compare data that has not been tied to each other in the past, including condition-based cost estimating for geotechnical asset classes. |
