Andy Kost, PE
Associate Engineer Andy has 12 years of geotechnical engineering experience in the western US working on concrete dams, embankment dams, and levees using both deterministic and risk-based methods. He also has strong experience in seismic studies and assessments, and developing geotechnical design recommendations relating to earthquake engineering. Andy's work on levees has included rapid assessments of flood damage and design of emergency levee repairs, several of which have been performed for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Andy has broad experience developing and managing geotechnical investigation plans and laboratory testing programs to address clients’ unique design requirements. His experience also includes analysis and design of drilled shaft and micropile deep foundations, MSE walls, and tieback walls. |
