Charlie Hammond, CEG, RG, LHG
Senior Associate Geologist Charlie has 38 years of engineering geology experience throughout the western US and internationally, and is a recognized expert in the areas of landslide characterization, structural geology, reconnaissance mapping, geologic hazard assessment, subsurface investigation, causation analysis, and risk assessment of future ground movement. During his career, he has built an excellent reputation of highly accurate characterization of unstable slope and groundwater conditions. He is also experienced in evaluating seismic hazards, soil and rock material sources, and construction dewatering systems. Charlie's tested skills in the investigation and interpretation of site geology conditions are necessary for establishing a strong framework for engineering design. He works on both individual landslides and regions of widespread ancient landslide terrain. Charlie is regularly retained as a Subject Matter Expert for dams, levees, and transportation infrastructure in landslide-prone areas. |
