Senior Associate Geologist

Darren has 25 years of engineering geology experience working on civil infrastructure projects throughout the US. His areas of expertise include geologic hazard assessment, rockfall investigation and remediation, landslide repair designs, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, and remote data collection. His instrumentation experience includes designing, installing, collecting and analyzing data from slope inclinometers, vibrating wire piezometers, crackmeters, and extensometers.

Darren is a leader in the field of Geotechnical Asset Management (GAM). He has recent experience assisting State DOTs in Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Missouri, and Tennessee with the development and implementation of GAM programs and plans. These programs provide condition and risk quantification tools for managing select geotechnical assets.
