Justin Crummett, PE
Associate Engineer Justin has over 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience working on a wide variety of projects throughout the western U.S. His background includes project management, geotechnical engineering analysis and design, and construction support services for dam safety evaluations and modifications, transportation infrastructure, evaluation and mitigation of landslides and rockfall hazards, earth retention systems, and water resources projects. His technical design and analysis experience includes site characterization; expansive soils and bedrock; embankment structures for transportation and dam infrastructure, including both new dams and modifications to existing dams to address dam safety issues; foundation analysis and design for footings, drilled shafts, driven and helical piles, and micropiles; design of earth retention systems, including soil nail walls, beam and lagging walls, rockery walls, MSE walls, and micropile walls; slope stability modeling and design of stabilization systems such as ground anchors and cantilevered drilled shafts; rockfall modeling and mitigation design; and assessment and remediation of distressed structures and retaining walls. Prior to joining CCI-LT, Justin worked for the Bureau of Reclamation where he was a project manager leading geotechnical analysis and design, and a team leader of a multi-disciplinary team for a significant dam safety modification project. He also performed and assisted with detailed quantitative risk analysis of embankment dams, participated in value planning and value engineering studies, and prepared plans, technical specifications, and engineering quantities for various embankment dam modification projects. |
