Tygh Gianella, PE
Associate Engineer Tygh has 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience working on a variety of transportation, water resources, and utility projects in the western US. He performed research at Oregon State University focusing on ground improvement techniques and mitigation of liquefaction and has published multiple papers on these topics, including several published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Tygh has experience performing a variety of design, construction observation (auger cast-in-place piles, soldier pile walls, MSE walls, deep excavations, mass grading, stone columns, drilled shafts, cement treatment, placement and compaction of structural fill), field testing (nuclear density testing, dynamic cone penetration testing, infiltration testing) and laboratory testing. His project management experience includes providing detailed scopes and budgets, managing field schedules and staff, geotechnical engineering analysis, design, and report preparation. This also includes evaluating site conditions and geotechnical elements during construction, field report review, review and response to RFI’s and submittals, which includes working closely with contractors and clients to achieve project goals. |
